The Portuguese-African chili sauce that conquered the world through grilled chicken. Bird's eye heat, lemon, garlic, smoked paprika. Marinade and sauce both.

  • 10bird's eye chilies (8-10)
  • 4 clovesgarlic
  • 1roasted red pepper
  • 0.3 cuplemon juice
  • 2 tbspred wine vinegar
  • 0.3 cupolive oil
  • 1 tspsmoked paprika
  • 1 tspdried oregano
  • 1 tspsalt

Method

  1. 1.Blend

    Blend everything smooth.

  2. 2.Split

    Use half to marinate the bird, reserve half to brush and serve.

  3. 3.Simmer

    Simmer the serving half 5 minutes if you want it thicker and less raw.
