Data Requests
Exercise your privacy rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA. Choose a request type below — your email client will open with a pre-filled message. We respond within 30 days.
Export my data
Receive a machine-readable copy of the personal information we hold about you (profile, recipes, comments, saved items, training progress, billing history).
Send requestDelete my account and data
Permanently delete your account and associated personal data. Some records (billing, tax, fraud-prevention logs) must be retained where required by law.
Send requestCorrect my data
Ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete personal information (name, email, profile details).
Send requestRestrict or object to processing
Withdraw consent, opt out of marketing, or object to specific processing of your personal data.
Send requestHow the process works
- Send your request from the email address associated with your account. This helps us verify your identity quickly.
- We may ask for additional verification information to make sure we’re not disclosing your data to someone else.
- We respond within 30 days. If your request is complex we may extend that period by up to 60 additional days and will let you know why.
- Requests are free. If a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may charge a reasonable fee or decline — and will explain why.
What we may need to keep
Even after deletion, we retain limited records where required by law — for example billing and tax records (typically 7 years), fraud-prevention logs, and evidence necessary to defend legal claims. Content you published publicly (recipes, comments) may be anonymised rather than deleted to preserve community integrity.
Prefer to write to us directly?
Email support@smokebrothersguild.com from your account address with a description of your request. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information and your rights under applicable law.
Right to lodge a complaint
If you live in the EEA or UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. California residents may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency.
