- 1 tbspdried dill
- 2 tspdried marjoram
- 2 tspground fenugreek
- 1 tspdried summer savory
- 1 tspblack pepper
- 0.5 tspturmeric
Method
1.Mix the rub
Combine and store airtight. Blue fenugreek is traditional if you can find it; regular fenugreek works. Turmeric stands in for the traditional marigold.
2.Apply and cook
Because this blend is salt-free, dry-brine the meat separately, then apply khmeli suneli before cooking. Leans herb rather than heat — a nice change of pace.
