Ingredients

  • 1 cup Kansas City Classic (recipe #1) or your favorite thick sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon of the same rub used on the ribs

Method

  1. 1.Warm everything together in a small saucepan until the butter melts and it's smooth.
  2. 2.Brush onto ribs in the last 15 minutes of the cook.
  3. 3.Give it 10 minutes on the pit to set, then brush a thin second coat right before serving.

Storage

Best made fresh. Leftovers keep refrigerated up to 1 week.
